We are a player-focused organization built by highly trained, NCAA-certified coaches who understand that true development extends beyond the court. Our mission is to build confident, skilled, and well-rounded athletes who excel in basketball and in life.

Whether a player is beginning their journey or ready to compete at the highest levels, FRF Corp provides the structure, mentorship, and elite training environment needed to help them reach their full potential.

Head Coach & Program Director

Saakita Allen (Coach Kiki)

Coach Kiki brings decades of coaching experience at both the middle school and high school levels, where she has consistently developed athletes from fundamental beginners to elite-level competitors. Her deep understanding of the game, paired with her passion for teaching, has helped shape countless young players into confident, skilled athletes ready for the next level.

Basketball paved the way for Coach K’s own journey — earning her a four-year athletic scholarship to Texas Lutheran University and leading to an opportunity to play women’s basketball overseas. Those experiences inspired her vision to build a program that gives back, creating the same opportunities for the next generation that the sport once created for her.

As the founder of Fundamentals R First Corp, Coach Kiki's expertise is unmatched. Her coaching philosophy blends discipline, development, and mentorship, ensuring every athlete grows not only in skill but also in character. Her ability to teach, motivate, and elevate young players is a driving force behind the success of every FRF Corp program.

Director of Operations & Treasurer

Denise Peak

From the very beginning, Denise has played a pivotal role in shaping the vision and growth of Fundamentals R First Corp. Her dedication, organization, and forward-thinking leadership have helped build FRF Corp into a trusted and thriving youth basketball program.

With a strong background in sports management, Denise oversees the operational heartbeat of the organization — coordinating practices, managing tournaments, securing sponsorships, and organizing community events.

Denise’s long-standing commitment to FRF Corp organization has created a foundation of reliability, professionalism, and opportunity for every athlete who walks through our doors. Her impact continues to drive the organization’s mission forward, making her an essential force behind our success.

Head Coach & Skills Trainer

Quiana Blackson (Coach Q)

With years of coaching experience working with middle school athletes in Philadelphia, Coach Q brings unmatched passion and energy to the Fundamentals R First Corp organization. Her strong foundation in fundamental skill development has helped young players build confidence, improve their abilities, and grow both on and off the court.

She teaches the game the right way—through structure, patience, and genuine care—creating an environment where every athlete can thrive. Her ability to motivate players and emphasize true TEAM basketball sets her apart.

When your child trains and is under Coach Q's leadership, they gain more than skills—they gain mentorship, motivation, and the mindset needed for long-term success on and off the court.

Assistant Coach & Program Counselor

Melitra Morris

Coach Morris brings over 20 years of dedicated service as a counselor in the Houston-area school system, along with a deep passion for coaching, teaching, and mentoring young athletes. Her extensive experience working with youth of all ages makes her an invaluable asset to the Fundamentals R First Corp organization.

With a background in coaching middle school basketball and a strong focus on strengthening fundamental skill development, Coach Morris helps players build confidence, discipline, and a true love for the game. Her counseling expertise is the perfect complement to FRF Corp’s Character Building Program, allowing her to support athletes not only in their physical development but also in their emotional growth, decision-making, and overall mindset.

Intern & Statisican

Kyrstal Holmes

Krystal serves as an intern with Fundamentals R First Corp, bringing enthusiasm, reliability, and a strong commitment to learning. Currently a teacher’s aide at a Houston-area school and pursuing her degree in Kinesiology, she aspires to become a middle school or high school coach.

As the dedicated statistician for FRF Corp, Krystal plays a vital role in tracking player performance, analyzing game data, and supporting coaches with detailed insights that help elevate our athletes’ development. Her passion for education, coaching, and youth development makes her a valuable part of the FRF Corp team and a rising leader in the field.
